The Travel Video Contest showed video editing mastery of the participants. Of the 69 entries submitted to the competition, the jury chose a travel video clip shot by Triinu Malvi and Markus Muide in Nice, France. Raul Oja holiday video shot on Tenerife won the public vote.

Õhtuleht’s representative, Sten-Erik Unt, was pleased with the high level of videos sent to the contest: “About the video that won first place, we can say for sure that it differs from all others. Of all the videos sent to the contest, dozens are very well made, and this proves a large number of votes received from viewers. All videos participating in the contest received 40,000 votes from viewers. But the winner-clip by Triinu Malvi and Markus Muide was precisely the Woody Allen style with a plot and cheerful characters made the jury want to immediately pack their bags and go to France. And this is the most important feeling that a video from a trip can trigger. ”

The Head of Marketing Airi Ilisson also commented on the results of the contest: “We at Estravel are also very happy that the contest turned out to be so popular, and that the video that won had a little story to tell and a nice play of small details combined with background music. Indeed, the ability of the clip to inspire is an important component of travel videos. A travel video filmed by Ando Kiidron, who landed second place, is also a pleasure to watch. In the clip, you can see a story of a wonderful day on board sailing yacht. And, of course, from then on, all videos were amazing, made at a decent level.”

According to the results of the public vote, the winner is a clip of Raul Oja from the island of Tenerife, which gained 2,500 votes. In second place was the video of Kaarel Kree from Austria with more than 2,000 votes.

The winner chosen by the jury will get two tickets to any of Turkish Airlines’ destinations, which has been recognized as the best airline in Europe for many years.

The winner of public vote will receive a GoPro Hero7 Black camcorder from Photopoint.

The second prize winners of both jury and public vote will receive the XD Design theft proof backpack from Reisikaubad.ee and the third prize winner will get Estravel’s and Õhtuleht’s gift bags.

The jury consisted of Airi Ilisson, Head of Marketing at Estravel, Sten-Erik Unt, Head of Marketing at Õhtuleht, Jürgen Veerme, a marketing specialist at Photopoint, and Tõnis Sildaru, a well-known video artist.
